Giada Scoccimarro joined Coccia De Angelis & Associati as an associate in 2024. Her practice focuses primarily on sports law and civil law.
She graduated in Law from the University of Florence with a thesis in constitutional law, and subsequently completed her legal traineeship in civil law, as well as an internship at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Florence, thus gaining experience in criminal law.
After graduating, Ms. Scoccimarro further specialized in alternative dispute resolution, with a particular focus on sports law. She obtained a Master’s degree in “Sports Law and Labour Relations in Sports” from the University of Milano-Bicocca and attended the postgraduate program “Sports Law: Key Issues in U.S. and Italian Law” at the University of Florence, which included an exchange program at the University of Miami – School of Law.
She has authored contributions on sports law, including “Il nuovo registro delle attività sportive dilettantistiche” in “La riforma dello sport”, Book 1, RDES (2024) and “Accessibilità allo sport e discriminazione al vaglio del giudice ordinario” in Rivista di Diritto Sportivo, Issue no. 1/2024.
A native Italian speaker fluent in English, Ms. Scoccimarro is admitted to the Florence Bar Association and is an active member of the Italian Sports Lawyers Association (AIAS).
