Federico Vecchio is name partner of the Firm Coccia De Angelis & Associati Vecchio. He specializes in commercial, administrative and sports law and works both in extrajudicial and judicial assistance. In particular, he has gained profound experience in commercial contract law and corporate law by assisting primary domestic and multinational groups in extraordinary corporate transactions, usually merging, divesting and acquiring operations.
He is, and has been, a member of arbitration panels (is listed on the list of arbitrators of the Chamber of Commerce at the CCIAA in Rome) and is a member of bodies of administration and control of companies of national and international significance. In the field of sports law, he is a member of the Independent Evaluation Body of the CONI and is the National Sports Procurator (CONI). From 1988 to September 2016 he was a member of the National Federative Tribunal of the Italian Football Federation.
From 2005 to 2015 he was Judge of First Instance of the Italian Golf Federation; Currently holds the position of Chairman of the Federal Court of Appeal. He was a member of the sports federation of the Italian Swimming Federation. Former Associate of Legal Studies CMS (1994) and Hammonds Rossotto (2005) joined the study in 2017.
He graduated in law (cum laude) at La Sapienza University in Rome and is a member of the Bar Association Of Rome and the Special Bar of Corte di Cassazione. He participated as a speaker, over the years, at conferences on corporate law and sports law. His publications comprise two guides edited by IPSOA - Francis Lefebvre (The Commercial Companies, First Edition, 1999, Contracts, 1st Edition, 2001) and also published articles on personal data protection in the magazine "Impresa commerciale e industriale".
